🎉SOBC – North Shore Athletes and Coaches Qualify for 2026 SOC National Summer Games🎉
North Vancouver, BC – Special Olympics BC – North Shore is proud to announce that an incredible group of athletes and coaches have officially qualified for the 2026 Special Olympics Canada National Summer Games in Medicine Hat, Alberta. This is a milestone achievement that reflects years of hard work, dedication, and true team spirit.
🏊♂️Swimming
Congratulations to Gallagher Stevens, who has earned his spot in the pool representing SOBC – North Shore. Gallagher’s commitment to training, perseverance, and love of the sport has made him a standout competitor, and we can’t wait to cheer him on as he races at Nationals.
🤸♀️Rhythmic Gymnastics
A huge round of applause to Coach Kayla Wrolson and Athlete Danielle Juilfs. Danielle’s artistry, discipline, and grace in rhythmic gymnastics have made her a top competitor, while Coach Kayla’s leadership and passion for athlete development continue to inspire and guide the team.
⛹️♂️Basketball
The North Shore basketball team showed incredible skill and determination, qualifying for Nationals in undefeated fashion. This strong and cohesive squad is led by Head Coach Zak Klein and supported by Assistant Coaches Kylie Johnston and Will Moon. Together, they have built a powerhouse team that has demonstrated teamwork, resilience, and commitment at every step.
