5 Pin Bowling
By far one of our most popular programs, 5 Pin Bowling is transitioning to the Winter Sport Cycle in 2018. Offered from September through March, this program is so popular we now offer 2 nights for athletes to choose from, Tuesday or Thursday evenings. This program is easily modified for individuals of any physical ability, offers opportunities to participate in many different tournaments
This exciting winter sport offers athletes the opportunity to challenge themselves through learning downhill racing skills. Various competition levels are available to support athletes of different abilities. Offered on Monday evenings from January through February (weather cooperating).
Cross Country Skiing
Cross Country Skiing is a sport enjoyed by athletes of any age or ability. Competitions range from 500m to 10km in distance, making this a sport that offers something for individuals with a variety of stamina and experience. Offered on Sunday mornings from January through February at Cypress, with bus transportation to the hill available.
Floor Hockey is an adapted version of ice hockey and ringette, played indoors with provided safety equipment. This high action sport offers a lot of fun to athletes of all ages and ability. Our program has both a level B and C division with athletes assessed at the start of each season for the appropriate fit. Floor hockey runs September through March on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Another program that is excellent for athletes of any age or ability, snowshoeing is an exciting winter program that promotes a great cardio workout. Offered on Sunday mornings from January through February at Cypress, with bus transportation to the hill available.
