The Walkathon is SOBC – North Shore’s biggest fundraiser each year. It is especially important, as it is the one in which our athletes take ownership and show their pride in our Local, describing exactly who we are and what we offer to your support networks. Walkathon participants collect donations from family, friends and community members to complete the walk. Donations are not made for the amount of kilometers walked, but rather for the completion of the walk. Everyone who participates will be eligible for prizes. For every $50 in pledges or donations, the participant receives an entry into the Grand Prize Draw. This year’s prizes are fantastic and definitely worth competing for!
