Description: Cross- Country Skiing is a winter sport that promotes physical conditioning while providing enjoyment for athletes of all ages. Special Olympics Cross-Country Skiing events are designed to be appropriate for athletes of every ability level.  Individual events offered in cross- country skiing range from the 500 metre race to the 10 km. As in all Special Olympics sports, athletes are grouped in competition divisions according to ability level, age and gender.

Coaches Comments: The sport is on each Sunday morning during January- February on the X-country area of Cypress. We join with athletes from other SOBC locals, making 15 athletes in total. Bus transportation is available.
