HOW I YOU BECAME INVOLVED: Kara got interested in Special ‘O’. I joined to support her and the group.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: There are just so many. It’s hard to pick just one. Every time I watch an athlete compete and do their best at that moment, It doesn’t matter whether they win or lose, because everyone wins. Only one athlete comes first but everyone wins.
WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT VOLUNTEERING: I like interacting with every one of the athletes and the volunteers. I love being surprised by what the athletes can do when they dig down deep inside themselves to be the best that can be. They are all really inspiring.
