Years involved with Special Olympics: 15 years as a spare scorekeeper and scorekeeper and this is my 3rd year as Assistant Coach.

How you became involved: I became involved because of my daughter, Lisa, and her needs.
What do I like about coaching Special O athletes: I enjoy working with the athletes and greatly respect the dedication and effort they put out to their sport. Also the respect and friendliness they give to the coaches, the scorekeepers and each other is something all can have pride in as we continue on. This is something that helped to get me involved and keeps me involved in helping them.
Best accomplishments: gaining the friendship and respect of the athletes and coaching at the 2009 Summer Games.
