WHAT IS YOUR VOLUNTEER POSITION: Softball Assistant Coach
HOW YOU BECAME INVOLVED: My parents got involved when I was younger and I would go help my dad coaching swimming and my mom coaching t-ball.
WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT VOLUNTEERING: I love seeing the athletes make progress at whatever skill they are practicing. Also, no matter what kind of day I am having, I know that I will leave the ball field feeling great.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT OR EVENT AS A VOLUNTEER: I went from Prince George to Vancouver for the BC Games one year and had a great time…..and, a crazy bus ride! Getting involved and connecting with the Softball C team the past two years has also been very memorable.
