WHAT IS YOUR VOLUNTEER POSITION: Registration Coordinator/5 Pin Bowling Scorekeeper
HOW YOU BECAME INVOLVED: My daughter joined the 5 Pin Bowling program and I became a scorekeeper and took on the secretarial duties with the executive committee.
WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT VOLUNTEERING: Seeing the enjoyment the athletes get from participating in the various sports as well as meeting and working with the other volunteers.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT OR EVENT AS A VOLUNTEER: Cheering on all the Track & Field athletes last June at the Track Meet in Richmond. The rain was relentless but despite being drenched, the athletes spirited on and didn’t let the conditions affect them in the least.
